  Absolutely awful experience with this company....rented via Holiday Autos so I won’t be using either of them again. They tried to get me to pay for a missing parcel shelf. When I said what would I do with a parcel shelf the man said, well some people take them into their hotel rooms ! Really?.

  Booked online through Rentalcars, 15min wait at the desk (it's not near the other car hires), remember to get a queue ticket. Found scratches on the car which were added to the form with no checking. Filled up the car before I dropped it off. The guy checked it was full and I was free to go.

  Make sure you follow all instructions per the type of rental you’re doing i.e. full tank, mileage etc. Check the car for dents or scratches and make them document it. Essentially, if things don’t go 100%, you could be in for a terrible experience with overcharges, penalties etc.

  Staff wasn't very polite. Plus, a week later I realized that an additional amount was charged to my credit card - without any communication from the company. Supposedly I had returned the car more than 30 minutes late. As I had not received any documentation at the return point I could not prove that this was not the case. Hence, I recommend to always ask for a rental protocol when booking with this supplier.

  On getting to their office at the airport, the processing was quick and organized and I had my key in no time. However, the vehicle was difficult to locate on the parking lot and there wasn’t any staff to help with the confusion.

  In hindsight, I probably had a better experience than most because I was very cautious after I read the reviews and took steps to avoid some of the traps that other unknowing patrons fall into.

  I checked Firefly review after I had already booked with them. On seeing the reviews, I was worried as hell. However, my view is that - for the price, the level of service was okay.
